👩 Women Economic Empowerment & Livelihoods

Enabling female-headed households in northern Afghanistan to achieve financial self-reliance through culturally respectful, home-based vocational tailoring, dairy micro-enterprises, and kitchen gardening.

Culturally Aligned Financial Dignity for Afghan Families

Female-headed households in Takhar, Kunduz, and Badakhshan face immense socio-economic barriers. ODSAD’s Women Economic Empowerment program designs community-endorsed, home-centered economic pathways that empower mothers, widows, and daughters with dignity and sustainable household revenue.

Working closely with local elders and Community Development Councils (CDCs), our programs distribute commercial-grade sewing machines, dairy processing kits, laying poultry coops, and vegetable seed starter kits, complemented by accounting and market linkages.
